- This is a modification to the synopsis entitled Research Operations Maintenanceand Engineering ROME Follow-on which was posted on March 2, 2012. The purpose of thisnotice is to provide industry with a notice for an industry day site visit and toidentify key upcoming milestones. An industry day site visit will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, from 9:00 AM 12:00PM EDT in the NASA Langley Reid Conference Center, Building 1222, 14 Langley Boulevard,NASA Langley Research Center, Hampton, Virginia. The site visit will begin with briefopening remarks/center overview followed by a guided facilities tour.Information presented at the industry day as well as the guided facilities tour will beunclassified. At the conclusion of the facilities tour, industry representatives willhave the opportunity for one-on-one discussions with members of the GovernmentProcurement Development Team (PDT). These discussions will be limited to 45 minutes,need to be scheduled in advance of the industry day site visit, and will be held duringthe remainder of the industry day (i.e. after the facilities tour concludes, beginning at1:00 PM EDT) as well as the two (2) days following the site visit (i.e. through Thursday,April 19, 2012 at 5:00 PM EDT). The one-on-one discussions provide industry theopportunity to ask questions and to provide additional input regarding any sources soughtsubmission (or to now provide verbal feedback regarding the information requested in thesources sought notice). The industry day site visit is an informal event and therefore any questions and answersprovided during the industry day site visit WILL NOT be posted to FedBizOps. Note thatthis industry day site visit is being held during the acquisition planning phase andthere will be a formal preproposal conference during the solicitation phase.Please contact Morgan Lindsay at Morgan.M.Lindsay@nasa.gov no later than Friday, April 6,2012 to register for the industry day site visit and to schedule a one-on-one discussion,if desired. One-on-one discussions will be scheduled on a first-come, first-servedbasis.The industry day site visit will be limited to U.S. citizens only and to two (2)individuals from each represented company. Please provide a list of planned attendeesvia email to Ms. Lindsay only no later than Friday, April 6, 2012. Provide full name asit appears on a photo ID (e.g., drivers license, employee, or Government ID Card) andaffiliation (e.g., Company, University). PreProposal Conference November 20124. RFP Issuance January 20135. Award August 2013No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If asolicitation is released it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps and on the NASA AcquisitionInternet Service.
