Salient Characteristics: Model year 2012 or newer; Cutting height range 1-16 inches (25-406 mm); Standard deck rings; Wing hydraulics shall have a wing lift independent, with spring assist unfolding; Wing level adjustment shall be easy-adjust turnbuckle with bearings; Wheels shall be row width adjustable; Wheel suspension shall have springs on all wheels; Safety chain on the front and rear; Minimum tractor PTO horsepower rating shall be 80 hp (60kw); Minimum 20 feet cutting width; Minimum stem cutting capacity 4 inches (102 mm); Minimum 0.28 inch (7mm) deck thickness; Minimum of 4 gear cases with a minimum of 1000 rpm; Minimum 31.7 inches (805 mm) bladeholder; Stumpjumper option required; Shall have suction-type blade; Shall have dual wing wheel spindles, hubs with minimum 26 inches x 9 inches x 14.5inches and severe duty agricultural tires; Shall include ball-type self-level hitch clevis; Shall include a 1 3/8 inch Star profile drive shaft: constant velocity with lock-slide collar driveline, category 5, 1000 rpm., 1, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, MICC Fort Drum intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. A Seller may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. MICC Fort Drum is taking this action in an effort to improve both seller access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, completed, real-time bids.All responsible Sellers that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com.
