- This is a synopsis of proposed contract action. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Two Mile Drive, Otisville, NY 10963 anticipates issuance of a solicitation to supply and install a 2,000 gallon unleaded fuel tank with pump and dispenser, a 2,000 gallon diesel fuel tank with pump and dispenser, an automated fuel use tracking system, an automatic tank gauging leak detection system components and an unleaded fueling extinguishing system. The successful contractor shall provide all material, labor, equipment and expertise for the construction project. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This project is a total 100% small business set aside. The NAIC code for this requirement is 237120 which contains a size standard of $33.5 million. The period of performance is 120 calendar days from the notice to proceed. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered at www.ccr.gov and http://orca.bpn.gov. Faith Based and Community Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The successful contractor shall be responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes. The issuance of RFQ will be on or about April 2, 2012. The solicitation will be distributed through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed through this site.
