- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. GENERATOR STATOR WEDGE & ASSOCIATED PACKING MATERIAL REPLACEMENT FOR CHIEF JOSEPH DAM Part 1: General 1.1Summary Chief Joseph Dam requires replacement of Generator Stator Wedges, Stator Slot Filler material, Ripple Springs, and associated packing materials to fulfill critical maintenance requirements. These items are not off the shelf items and will require manufacturing in accordance with strict adherence to product specifications outlined in section 1.2 and associated attachments included in this document. References to PH_1 are for Westinghouse generator units 1-16 located in Powerhouse No. 1 and PH_2 are for General Electric generator units 17-27 located in Powerhouse No. 2. 1.2 Part Specifications: Wedges: 9 unique wedges of different quantities all following: Material: NEMA grade G-11 Tolerance: +/-.003 on decimal dimension, +/- 1/64 on fraction dimensions *Sample wedges will be furnished upon request after contract awarded. Wedge dimensions can be seen on documents PH1_Wedges & PH2_Wedges Stator Slot Filler Material: Material: NEMA grade G-5 Dimensions: 48" long x.890" wide with the following thicknesses aa).010" thick Tolerance +/-.002" ab).020" think Tolerance +/-.003" ac).030" thick Tolerance +/-.003" ad).060" think Tolerance +/-.006" * Sample Stator Slot Filler will be furnished upon request after contract awarded. Filler Specifications can be seen on documents PH2_FillerSpec Ripple Springs: Material: Glass fiber reinforced, synthetic resin Material specifications including tolerances, deflection and temperature rating can be seen on document PH1_FillerSpecs Dimensions: 0.9 mm thick in the following sizes 6.78" long x.90" wide 5.53" long x.90" wide 5.43" long x.90" wide *Sample springs will be furnished upon request after contract awarded. Part 2: Products 2.1Contractor shall procure and deliver all items listed in the bid schedule. All items in the Bid Schedule are subject to the Part Specifications in section 1.2and drawings and exhibits contained within this Statement of Work.
