- BAA 11-01 conformed copy incorporating amendment 01 The purpose of this Space Innovation and Development Center (SIDC) Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) 11-01 Amendment 01 is to extend the white paper due date. The white paper due date is hereby changed from: "White papers against SIDC BAA 11-01 may be submitted anytime after the notice has been published in FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) up to a period of one year. However, Respondees are hereby encouraged to provide submissions at their earliest convenience, as they will be considered on a "first-come/first-serve" basis and will, therefore, have a better chance for consideration. Respondees are hereby notified that SIDC BAA 11-01 includes additional/revised focus areas from the previous BAA 09-02 that combines Air Force TENCAP and the Innovation Directorate (SIDC/ID). Please review the data presented in the Program Summary section of this BAA for a more detailed explanation of SIDC BAA 11-01." A complete amended description of SIDC BAA 11-01 is attached. The SIDC may contract for activities covered in the focus areas detailed within this document. The intent of the BAA is to investigate and develop concepts and technologies that will enable the SIDC to meet current and future Air Force warfighter space needs. The goal is to develop technologies that provide the best possible space capabilities for the warfighters, when and where needed, in the most cost-effective manner. White papers and subsequent proposals can cover either development of new capabilities for potential 3600 R&D acquisitions or leverage off of existing capabilities for 3400 O&M acquisitions. Please closely follow the directions in the BAA regarding submission of white papers; a formal proposal is not required at this time.
