- Forest Road 271 Shingle Mill Box Culvert Work includes mobilization, soil erosion & pollution control, clearing & grubbing, removal of culvert, structural excavation, riprap, aggregate base, pit run base, aggregate surface course, road reconditioning, structural concrete, low profile metal box culvert installation, seeding, signs, barricade, pit development and other associated work. Project is located 15 miles southeast of Bradford, PA. From Bradford take State Highway 346 eleven mile east to Forest Road 137. Take FR 137 4.7 miles to the intersection with Forest Road 271. The Shingle Mill crossing is a few hundred feet from this intersection. OR from the intersection of State Route 59 and State Route 321 North, take 321 north 6 miles to the intersection of FR271, drive 3.2 miles to the stream crossing. Price range is $100,000 to $250,000. Work period will be 90 days and is estimated to begin June 1, 2012. This solicitation is set aside for SBA certified Hubzone small businesses only. Solicitation materials including pre-bid meeting info, specs, drawings, etc will be uploaded to this site on or about April 9, 2012.
