- Statement of Need / SOO This is a Sources Sought Synopsis being conducted pursuant to FAR Part 10, Market Research. This is for planning purposes only and there is no solicitation available at this time. This is an initial step in the planning process to acquire support for the following requirement: Strike Now Website with Interface for Apple and Android Apps - Estimated Period of Performance is 1 Jun 2012 - 30 Sept 2012, to include four (1-year) option periods for sustainment. The 2nd Contracting Squadron at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, seeks potential sources that can perform the required service. ** Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. All potential offerors capable of performing this effort are invited to respond with capability packages no later than 9 April 2011. All potential offerors shall provide information sufficient enough to allow the Government to assess their capability to provide the required support, to include past/current performance under existing Government contracts. Any information provided as a result of this sources sought is voluntary and the Government will not pay for any information submitted. Interested offerors can submit their capability package via email to charles.navarro@us.af.mil. Items of interest include an estimate of how long it will take to develop, a range of price for development, and cost per year to sustain during four (1-year) option periods. See attached Statement of Need (SON) for specifications. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) is 541511, Custom Computer Programming Services, which has a small business size standard of $25.5M. This sources sought should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach.
