- Description
- The FAA intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for the removal and replacement of the existing Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) owned and operated Runway End Indicator Lights (REIL) facilities serving Runway 27 at the Delta County Airport (ESC), Escanaba, Michigan and Runway 08L at the Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR), Grand Rapids, Michigan; and to install a Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) Antenna for Runway 27 at the Delta County Airport (ESC), Escanaba, Michigan. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment to perform the project in strict accordance with the contract clauses, drawings, and specifications. Contract performance time is 75 calendar days, with an anticipated start date of June 3, 2012. The estimated price range for this procurement is between $250,000 and $500,000. NAICS is 237990. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. INTERESTED FIRMS MUST HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED SIMILAR PROJECTS BOTH IN DOLLAR AMOUNT AND SCOPE OF WORK AT AN OPERATIONAL AIRPORT.
