- Description
- It is the Army's intent to award a sole-source contract to Sunflower Redevelopment LLC for COR (Contracting Officer's Representative) support services at Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant (SFAAP). COR Support at SFAAP includes but is not limited to: utilities and maintenance support for office and communications equipment already present at the former SFAAP. The former SFAAP was transferred to SRL under the authority of 2841 of P.L. 108-375 (118 STAT. 2135) on 3 August 2005. Per Part I, section D.8 of Contract # W52H09-05-D-5008, SRL agreed to accommodate the Army's need for existing office space for on-site personnel needed to oversee SRL's performance of the Explosive Decontamination and Environmental Remediation of SFAAP, at no cost to the Army other than the reasonable cost of utilities, custodial services, and equipment building maintenance services. Therefore the Army is required to pay the land owner (SRL) for utilities and maintenance of Army Office Space at SFAAP.
