Description
List of 26 line items **THIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS NOTICE DOES NOT IMPLY THAT THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY (FEMA) WILL TAKE ANY PROCUREMENT ACTION PERTAINING TO THIS MATTER. RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE ARE NOT OFFERS AND CANNOT BE ACCEPTED BY THE GOVERNMENT TO FORM A BINDING CONTRACT** The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather pricing information for Vendor Managed Inventory of the FEMA Infant & Toddler Shelter Kit. FEMA is requesting estimated pricing information for a vendor to manage ten (10) Infant and Toddler (I/T) kits. These kits, which include 26 line items, should be readily available to ship to any location in the continental United States or US territories within a 48 hour time frame. (Please see attached kit list) Each kit should be packaged in a tri-wall container with the perishable and non-perishable items segregated. A comprehensive spreadsheet listing all items of the kits to include manufacturer, lot number, and expiration date, will be attached to the exterior of the kits, as well as inside the kit. A copy of the spreadsheet should also be sent to the Contacting Officer's Representative (COR). Separate life-cycle information is required for perishable line items in each kit. There are nine (9) items that FEMA is requesting a 12 month shelf life from date of award. Those items are I/T #1-7, 16-17, & 23, shown on the attachment. FEMA is willing to accept no less than a nine (9) month shelf life of these perishable items. However, any kits shipped with items that have less than a 12 month shelf life will require a one (1) time refresh of the kits. This shall be completed by the vendor if the kits are stored in a FEMA Distribution Center, via shipping destination or retrograde from disaster site. The refresh will achieve a 12 month shelf life from the original date of award for all perishable items contained in the kit. Estimated pricing should be per kit to include CONUS transportation and any anticipated re-fresh/life cycle costs.
