- The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center Contracting Office (AFNWC/PKOA) Kirtland AFB, NM, is issuing Solicitation # FA9401-12-R-0001 to support the Air Force Joint Personal Property Shipping Office (JPPSO) at Colorado Springs, CO (JPPSO-COS), QA/DPM Contract Manager. This follow-on requirement is to secure continuing services for Packing, Containerization and Local Drayage, by Direct Procurement Method (DPM) of Personal Property Shipments for relocating DOD personnel and related services on or near Kirtland AFB, NM. To assure timely and equitable evaluation of proposals, Offerors must ensure that their submitted proposals are complete, self-sufficient, and respond directly to the requirements of this solicitation. A complete proposal consists of all executed solicitation/proposal documents, and a completed Bid Schedule for the Basic Period of one (1) Year plus four (4) Option Years. N O T I C E: Offerors are cautioned that Kirtland AFB has stringent visitor control procedures requiring individuals not affiliated with the installation to obtain a visitor pass and be cleared by the Government point of contact to be visited prior to entrance. It is possible that the point of contact may not be available to clear offerors for entrance which may prohibit submission of hand-carried offers; consequently, offerors who elect to hand carry their proposals for submittal just prior to proposal closing time, do so at their own risk.
