- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. USAMRAA intends to make a sole source award to Triton Systems Inc. They will be applying insecticide using proprietary application techniques to three different types of bug bed nets. The Triton bed net will be compared to two other bed nets currently in the DoD supply system, the three bed nets will be compared to determine which net fabric performs better both before and after weathering. The nets being used are proprietary to Triton Systems Inc. and were developed as part of a SBIR award that ended last year. Numbered Note 22 applies.
