- Request for Quote: FB20652046X782 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT RESULT IN AN ORDER AGAINST AN FEDERAL SUPPLY SCHEDULE. ANY OFFER WHICH IS PREDICATED UPON THE AWARD BEING PLACED AGAINST AN FSS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: (a) NAICS: 334419 (b) NR OF EMPLOYEES: 500 The purchase of request is for 1 each - Interface Test Adapter, Part Number 40W180501. Mfr: ION Corporation Justification for Sole Source: ION Corporation is currently the only manufacturer known to maintain an existing ITA design that meets the requirements of the government. The use of this design allows for ION to maintain a reserve of ITAs near a final state of manufacture thus eliminating the long lead time and significant cost of creating an ITA design from scratch. Price(s) should be FOB Destination (Robins AFB GA 31098). In addition to price and delivery, quote should include your cage code, DUNS number, and taxpayer ID number. Requested delivery date is 4 weeks ARO or earlier. Quotations should be emailed to Nicholas Rorie (nicholas.rorie@Robins.af.mil) and Delicia McSweeney (delicia.mcsweeney@robins.af.mil) no later than 28 March 2012, 4:00 pm EST. The anticipated award date is 4 April 2012. Please do not request award status prior to this date. The following have been added by full text: PROVISION 252.209-7999 REPRESENTATION BY CORPORATIONS REGARDING AN UNPAID DELINQUENT TAX LIABILITY OR A FELONY CONVICTION UNDER ANY FEDERAL LAW (JAN 2012) (a) In accordance with sections 8124 and 8125 of Division A of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2012, (Pub. L. 112-74) none of the funds made available by that Act may be used to enter into a contract with any corporation that - (1) Has any unpaid Federal tax liability that has been assessed, for which all judicial and administrative remedies have been exhausted or have lapsed, and that is not being paid in a timely manner pursuant to an agreement with the authority responsible for collecting the tax liability, where the awarding agency is aware of the unpaid tax liability, unless the agency has considered suspension or debarment of the corporation and made a determination that this further action is not necessary to protect the interest of the Government. (2) Was convicted of a felony criminal violation under any Federal law within the preceding 24 months, where the awarding agency is aware of the conviction, unless the agency has considered suspension or debarment of the corporation and made a determination that this action is not necessary to protect the interests of the Government.
