Description
The SNL's Europe Financials platform provides comprehensive, accurate and timely financial data, including 500+ items that have been hand-entered into a heavily vetted IFRS/Banking template; Balance sheet by nature (loans, equity security investments) and by classification (held for trading, amortized cost, etc.); breakouts of off-balance-sheet derivative components; Income statement, including standardized pre-impairment operating profit, impairment detail and yield/cost information; detailed credit quality metrics, including gross and net impaired loans, past due loans, etc. SNL Europe provides an events calendar that can be exported to Outlook for European Financials to include: conference calls; earnings releases; company meetings; and industry conferences. OFR will gain access to early morning relevant news from local and major financial papers throughout Europe with translations and links to the original source. A real-time feed of news updates with email alerts is provided, as well as in-depth proprietary reporting specific to European financials. SNL Europe provides a comprehensive listing of 220,000+ branch locations for covered banks, with a summary/mapping of retail branch locations by country. Branch analytics are provided that shows a pro formal deal map on the number of branches two banks have within a specific distance of one another. SNL Europe consolidates all European financial company documents collected from company websites, regulatory bodies, and stock exchanges. This includes but is not limited to: annual, interim and quarterly reports; earnings, M&A and other investor presentations; debt and equity offering prospectuses; financial supplements, earnings/press releases; Basel and Pillar III statements. SNLxl provides an Excel add-in which allows OFR to use software available to all staff to import the data to Excel. The add-in enhances the searching and screening capability of the following datasets: corporate data; financials; market data; M&A; equity issuance transactions; debt and equity issues outstanding. The Excel add-in also provides prebuilt analytical templates to assist in the analysis of the data sets mentioned above. Country profiles allow for in-depth analysis of country specific economic data, banking statistics, domestic league table rankings, largest branch networks, recent merges and equity offerings, industry news, and sovereign ratings. Data for mergers at European financials includes the following: detailed deal comps (current/historic); company merger histories; buyer and seller stock performance; links to relevant deal news; and document and company financials linked to each deal. Peer analytics are available for these European financials, allowing for the creation of relevant peer comparisons using default peer logic or the customization of own peer groups. Additional benchmarking is available using SNL indexes or custom aggregates. Capital markets data specific to Europe is provided on the following: details on debt and equity issues outstanding; debt maturity schedule; rights and other equity offerings, credit ratings from Fitch, Moody's, S&P and DBRS. SNL Europe provides market data specific to European markets, including the following: stock highlights containing portfolio stocks summary, intraday pricing, price leaders and losers, and volume; institutional ownership including individual company ownership and peer comparison analytics; indexes by sector, market cap and geography, prices, total return, dividend yield, betas; and rates and yields, specific to currency exchange rates and LIBOR. SNL Europe was found to be the single source to provide institutional level European specific data coverage on European financials and markets of quality that meets OFR standards. Market research was conducted and another provider of similar data was located. However, this provider provides only aggregations of the required data and not institutional level data for analytical purposes as required by OFR. In addition, early vintage data (prior to 2001) was not electronically archived and retrieval is not automated, nor is the data assessable in a database. OFR requires the data be assessable through automated methods. A request for more information will not be considered a response. If no written response is received that clearly demonstrates the ability to meet all the requirements, we intend to negotiate a sole-source award. Telephone inquires will not be accepted. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will consider responses received by the response date.
