- Description
- Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) Contract with Marotta Controls, Inc., 78 Boonton Avenue, P. O. Box 427, Montville, NJ 07045-0427 for the procurement of Spares, Depot Level Repair/Upgrade of the Marotta Pure Air Compressor Technologies (MPACT) for integration into the LAU-7 and LAU-127 Missile Rail Launchers. The MPACT Associated Hardware, Special Tooling/Special Test Equipment, Engineering and Technical Support. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). Unless otherwise stated herein, no additional written information is available. Request for the same will be disregarded. A determination has been made by the Government not to compete this effort. GENERAL INFORMATION: Marotta Controls is the original manufacturer and possess the proprietary data, the necessary knowledge, equipment, facilities, experience and a qualified production line up and running to perform this effort within the timeframe required. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for the supplies and services anticipated herein is 336413 "Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing". Once NAVAIR finalizes its requirements for the subject effort, a prerequisite for receiving a contract award will be registration in the DoDs Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
