- N40085-12-B-3571(REV. 3-20-2012) The work includes hydraulic dredging of mud and silt material along with incidental related work in accordance the drawing and specification at Norfolk Naval Station, Norfolk, VA. Deposition of material shall be by hydraulic pump directly into the North Containment Cell of Craney Island Dredge material Management Area, Portsmouth, VA and incidental related work. Location of deposition within Craney Island Project Site is subject to change and should be coordinated with the Army Corps of Engineers before dredging begins. Work will include a bid option to dredge the Channel Fairway at Pier 11 South (Dredge Area U ). The approximate solicitation release date is 3 April 2012. The estimated cost range is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NACIS) Code is 237990 and the size standard is $33.5 million dollars. The solicitation is UNRESTRICTED. This Firm Fixed contract and performance period is one hundred eighty (180) calendar days from notice of award. This solicitation will be available in electronic format only. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat PDF file format via the Internet. The free Acrobat Reader, required to view the PDF files, can be downloaded from the Adobe website.
