- Description
- The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to contract using other than full and open competition for the following: The Government requires secure parking spaces for a maximum of two hundred (200) privately owned automobiles per month. The location of the parking space services shall be in close proximity of the George Bush Intercontinental/Houston Airport, 2800 Terminal Road, Houston, TX 77032. The facility(s) must be onsite the airport location and accessible twenty four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week. The distance between the entrances to the parking area(s) must be within.50 miles of the entrance(s) to the airport facility. Accordingly, TSA intends to award a contract to New South Parking Texas at 2800 N. Terminal Road Houston, Texas. This contract will address the requirements of Office of Law Enforcement/Office of Field Operations. (Reference Sources Sought: Parking_2012-3) The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to the requirement or submit proposals. The notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However all proposals received thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. The Government will notify parties of the outcome of any proposed submitted in response. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
