Description
Amendment made to Solicitation W91QF5-12-T-0008 Bid Schedule. Additionally, answers to questions proposed for Solicitation W91QF5-12-T-0008 include: 1. Since it is on base are they requiring all American made products? Answer: Products are exempt in accordance with FAR 25.103(3)(e). 2. Will they require compression fittings or is set screw fine? Answer: Set Screw is fine. 3. Is 1 2" EMT ok or is there a minimum use of 3 4" EMT required? Answer: This depends on the amount of wires going through the EMT conduit. It is up to the contractor to decide what the appropriate size needed in order to fit all wires within the EMT conduit. The size would depend on how many wires the contractor plans to use. 4. What is the Davis Bacon Wage for the job? Answer: This is not a construction contract; however, as provided on FEDBIZOPPS under the attachment of local instructions, the Service Contract Act wage determination was included. Contractors shall adhere to the set wages as established by WD 05-2545 (Rev.-15). 5. Since the building is occupied will work be done after hours since there will be a noise factor with the hammer drill or shots into the concrete? Answer: No, IAW PWS 1.6.4 Hours of Operation: The contractor is responsible for conducting business, between the hours of 0800 to 1700, Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings (We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; however, it is request that the work be performed during standard business hours 0800 to 1700, Monday through Friday. Any deviation would require prior coordination). The Contractor must at all times maintain an adequate workforce for the uninterrupted performance of all tasks defined within this PWS when the Government facility is not closed for the above reasons. When hiring personnel, the Contractor shall keep in mind that the stability and continuity of the workforce are essential. 6. Is there a clearance required and escort needed? Answer: No, IAW PWS 1.6.7 Security Requirements: Contractor personnel performing work under this contract are not required to have a clearance; however, the Contractor may need to work on different areas at different times depending on what personnel in BLDG 1107 2nd floor are working on.
