- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the service and repair of an ABB GSU Bank B Phase X2 Bushing. All work shall be done in accordance with the performance work statement attached in the solicitwtion (page 2) and with NEC 2001 and EM385 1-1 standards. The Government intends on awarding a firm fixed price service contract under simplified acquisition procedures. The award shall be made to the offeror that has the lowest price but is technically acceptable. All offerors MUST submit the required documentation listed on Page 3 of the solicitation for the offer to be considered responsive. All documents must be submitted prior to the closing date and time denoted on Page 2 of the solicitation. A site visit has been scheduled for 1:00 PM Pacific Standard Timer on Tuesday April 9, 2012. Offerors interested in participating in the site visit must submit the names of all the attendees no later than 3:00 PM Pacific Standard Time on Monday April 9, 2012 via e-mail to jean.p.bretz@usace.army.mil. Attendance for the site visit is not required but encouraged. All questions need to be submitted by e-mail to jean.p.bretz@usace.army.mil. No questions regarding this solicitation shall be answered by phone. NAICS CODE:335311 SIZE STANDARD:750 employees FSC CODE:JO61 This acquisition has been set aside 100 percent for all small business concerns.
