- Description
- As a result of mandatory ASN-RDA Peer Review, the CNIT Program Management Office is currently in the process of revising its RFP, SOW and acquisition strategy to refine the scope of this effort to be compliant with NMCARS published 9 January 2012. All CLINS which were anticipated to be utilized by other acquisition commands (i.e. MARCORSYSCOM, NAVFAC, NAVSEA, etc.) will be removed along with the corresponding SOW paragraphs. Furthermore, the 'up to 10' contract award limit is being removed in order to allow the Government to maximize the competitive environment. No upper limit to the number of contracts to be awarded will be provided and the ceiling will remain at $5B with a 5 year ordering period. The Government still contemplates award of a minimum of three contracts to small businesses. It is anticipated that a revised draft RFP will be posted to FedBizOpps in order to allow industry the opportunity to review the revised scope of the effort prior to issuance of the final RFP. The revised draft RFP should be posted in April.
