- Justification and Approval for Furniture Procurement This is a Notice of intent to award a sole source, Firm- Fixed Price (FFP) contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) - FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A)(B) - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements follow-on contract for the continued provision of highly specialized services, to UNICOR, located at 3301 Leestown Road, Lexington, KY 40511-8702. The scope of the requirement is the reconfiguration and installation of additional furniture in support of Capabilities Development & Integrations (CD&I) Division located aboard Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA. The NAICS code for this requirement is 423210. This Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. A Request for Quote (RFQ) will not be available for this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. However, the government will consider all vendor capabilities received within 2 days after date of publication of this notice of intent. The point of contact for this acquisition is: Ms. Tammy D.
