- See attached document VA240-12-Q-0024. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a sole source commercial supply and/or service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The James J. Peters VA Medical Center intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP) (division of Ethicon Inc., a Johnson & Johnson Company), pursuant to FAR 6.302-1; for preventative maintenance and repair services of its STERRAD 100NX Sterilizer System. Due to proprietary system software and warranty of the system these services must be performed by authorized technical staff from APS. The solicitation number is VA-240-12-Q-0024 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. This solicitation document and all incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-49. The relevant NAICS code is 811219 with small business size standards of $19 million.
