- Description
- The requirement is for the purchase of a 50 GHz Power Augmentation Source which must be capable of generating signals over the frequency range of 100 KHz to 50 GHz with continuous wave (CW) capabilities with high stability time-base. The proposed item must meet the requirements of AFMETCAL Purchase Description 12E-111A-RF, Rev. 1, dated 28 June 2011. AFMETCAL intends to award a commercial contract utilizing Best Value LPTA source selection procedures under FAR Part 12. The required quantity is for 11 each production units with data including technical manual in accordance with DD Forms 1423. There are options for anticipated quantities of up to 5 each for FY13. The production units will undergo a 45day acceptance test peiod. The units will be shipped to AFMETCAL at a rate of a minimum of 3 each, maximum of 4 each due 120 days after contract award and continue at the rate of every 30 days until delivery is complete. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued approximately 4 April 2012. Date of receipt of offers will be posted at that time. The solicitation package including purchase description, DD Form 1423, and warranty information will be posted at this site.
