- RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER: Contractor Name: HNTB-Gerwick River Solutions JV, Contract Number: W912EK-09-D-0007 THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. THIS IS A MODIFICATION NOTICE FOR A PREVIOUSLY AWARDED ARRA TASK ORDER. DO NOT RESPOND. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) intends to award a modification that will revise "Task 10" within the Scope of Work. This modification will relieve the Contractor of submission of the final Periodic Inspection (PI) report for the LDB of the Des Moines River Levee PI with no reduction in cost. The final PI report cannot be submitted due to the Levee undergoing repairs that may alter ratings of certain elements and render the report inappropriate if finalized prior to repairs and alterations being complete. Ongoing USACE activities has rendered the draft PI report the snapshot in time of the levee required of the Periodic Inspections and is accepted by the USACE as the finalized PI report specified under this contract. The Contractor existing deliverable contains the A/E determined component ratings, the contractor has discussed lessons learned with the USACE and has addressed USACE comments and A/E DQCR comments. The USACE, Rock Island District, awarded a firm fixed price task order for Periodic Levee Inspections. The A/E shall perform services to provide equipment, supplies, personnel, vehicles and adhere to right of entry permissions to conduct levee safety periodic inspections of required systems near Des Moines, Waterloo, Evansdale, Dubuque, Muscatine, Iowa and Beardstown, Rock Island, Illinois.
