Please review the attached draft Request for Proposal (RFP) for contract line item descriptions, quantities and deliveries. The final RFP will be posted on or about 2 April 2012. Hard copies of the RFP will not be available. The period of performance for this production will consist of one 30 month base period for a First Article and 5 follow on production periods of 24 months each. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 334511 - Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing, small business size standard: 750 employees. Proposals will be reviewed for technical acceptability, price and past performance. While price is the most important factor, award will be made to one technically acceptable offeror with the lowest total evaluated price.
