- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The RFP document and contract incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26 (Effective 31 May 2011). The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District is seeking proposals to manufacture and deliver four double reduction, floor mounted gearboxes, two left hand and two right hand units. This requirement is being set-aside for small business. There are two (2) contract line items, as follows: Item No. 0001: DAM GATE GEAR BOXES - Double reduction, floor mounted gear boxes - two left hand units in accordance with the attached drawing and specifications. Item No. 0002: DAM GATE GEAR BOXES - Double reduction, floor mounted gear boxes - two righ hand units in accordance with the attached drawing and specifications.
