- The following is a pre-solicitation of a proposed contracting action in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.201. The solicitation is estimated to be issued on or about 20 March 2012 and will be posted to the Government Point of Entry at http://www.fbo.gov. Mission Contracting Office (MCO) Fort Gordon, GA has a requirement for Firefighter Uniform Maintenance. Description of Services: Provide Firefighter Flame Resistant Apparel, Laundering, and repair services for the Fort Gordon Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES). The acquisition is Unrestricted. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP)contract as a result of this solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 812332. The Small Business size standard for this project is $35.5 Mil. Solicitation W91247-12-T-0012 Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about 20 March 2012. All offers shall be provided as specified in the solicitation. A notification will be issued on the Government Point of Entry website at http://www.fbo.gov. No paper copies will be provided. Prospective offerors interested in submitting an offer on this solicitation must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (Sep 2007). Inactive registration on the CCR database will make a prospective offeror ineligible for award consideration.
