- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice for synopsis of "Shipping Containers" for Davis-Monthan AFB (DMAFB), Arizona. This is a commercial item; therefore, FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, shall apply to this acquisition. The contractor shall provide all facilities, equipment, tools, transportation, personnel, labor, supervision, and management to manufacture and deliver fifty-five (55) 40' high storage containers thirty (30) with shelving, to site at 309th Aircraft Maintenance and Regeneration Group, Davis-Monthan AFB (DMAFB), AZ. This service shall be provided in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This acquisition will be solicited as a Request for Proposal (RFP) utilizing FAR Part 12 & 15. A Firm Fixed Price contract will result from this solicitation. Award selection will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. This acquisition will be a 100% Set-Aside for small business concerns as described in FAR Subpart 19.5. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 332439; and, the small business size standard is 500 EMP. The RFP Number is FA4877-12-R-0009 and shall be issued on or about 2 April 2012, posted electronically on the Federal Business Opportunity website (http://www.FBO.gov). No paper copies will be issued; no telephone request will be honored and no bidder's mailing list will be maintained. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any amendments that may follow. Any proposal submitted is strictly voluntary. The government will not pay for any proposals submitted in response to the RFP. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR website (http://www.ccr.gov) or by contacting CCR Customer Service Contact Information at 1-866-606-8220. Please Note: The subsequent award of this requirement shall not be held up by the government waiting for a firm to be properly registered. All responsible small business concerns may submit a proposal to the 355th Contracting Squadron.
