- This notice is provided solely for informational and planning purposes only. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the Government to contract whatsoever. Inquiries to this notice will not be accepted. It is the bidders' responsibility to monitor the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) web site www.fbo.gov for the release of the solicitation and amendments, if any. This acquisition is to provide all labor, plant, materials and equipment, and perform all work incidentals to install panic hardware on access doors of the Dining Facility Building 206, repair or replacement of air curtains, installation of new entry buzzer on employee entrance, and replace the emergency exit signage. This work will be performed at Fort Hunter Liggett, California 93928. The Government is contemplating awarding a firm-fixed price requirements construction contract in accordance with FAR Part 36. The proposed contract will have a performance period of 60 days from notice to proceed. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 561621 and the Small Business Size Standard is $12.5 million. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Competition will be restricted to Woman Owned Small Business. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and price-related factors considered. The solicitation can be downloaded on or about 6 March 2012 from the FedBizOpps web site at www.fbo.gov. All contractors interested in receiving notification of updates/amendments to the solicitation are urged to enroll on the web site (FedBizOpps) mailing list for this acquisition. Those contractors enrolled will be notified automatically of any changes made to the solicitation through their email addresses. No telephonic or facsimile bids will be accepted.
