- Description
- Andersen AFB, Guam intends to solicit & award an acquisition for lifeguard services at the Andersen AFB pool. The contractor shall provide all products, supervision personnel, equipment, transportation, material, and other items and services necessary to perform the requested services. The period of performance for this effort is from 1 July 2012 to 30 September 2012. Two additional one year options are also included in this effort. The resultant contract is anticipated to be a Firm-Fixed Price type contract. This acquisition is issued as a 100% Small Business Set Aside procurement under the primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) of 713940 and a related small business size standard of $7 million. This synopsis is provided for informational purposes and is not to be considered a request for quote/proposal; however, all responsible sources may submit a quote/proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Solicitation Number FA5240-12-R-0004 is assigned for reference purposes. The entire solicitation will be made available on or about 22 March 2012 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) Website located at https://www.fbo.gov/. The required response date will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-55. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. Please be advised that hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available; you must download solicitation documents from the fbo.gov website. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to transact business with the government. Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the CCR may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the CCR at the time of award.
