- SOW (Draft) The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, MEC Product Line, is issuing this notice as a Request for Information regarding the attached Draft Statement of Work for repairing Power PC Circut Card Assemblies, used on the 73 AN/SPS Radar system. Your response to the following questions are requested, in writing, to: Ashley.A.Fetherman@uscg.mil AND Mark.J.Balderelli@uscg.mil by 2:00pm EST 23 March 2012. Responses received after this date and time may not be considered. Please reference "Power PC Cards" in the subject line of the email. 1) Is the SOW clear? If not, please explain what is not clear? 2) Is the Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) Ready For Issue condition (RFI) explicit? 3) Is item inspection criteria clear and achievable? 4) Does the CCA repair time met industry standards for this type of repair and is it attainable? 5) Are there any foreseeable issues in attaining repair parts or materials? 6) Does the status report provide a meaningful tracking tool for industry and are the requirements feasible? 7) Is Coast Guard post repair testing of RFI CCAs appropriate to warranty repairs if the CCA does not met the criteria? 8) Does the Government Furnished Property (GFP) facilitate repairs and are the associated GFP requirements achievable? 9) Are additional equipment/system components required to repair/test CCAs? 10) Are there any issues associated with CCA inspection, testing, and repair as proposed in the SOW? 11) Were any issues installing third party software for proposed testing identified? 12) Is SOW reporting criteria clear and achievable? 13) Are the Preservation, Packing, and Marking requirements clear and achievable? 14) Can the SOW be improved to attain better success in executing the contract? This notice is for the purpose of conducting market research only. Proposals are not being requested at this time, and the Government does not intend to pay for any information that is submitted.
