Description: THIS AMENDMENT IS NOTIFICATION THAT SOLICITATION P12PS40987 IS HEREBY CANCELLED AND REPLACED WITH P12PS40336. The solicitation previously issued, number P12PS40987, is no longer valid.========================================================================================================= This is a pre-solicitation notice for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to re-roof six structures at the Lake Crescent Lodge employee housing within Olympic National Park, Clallam County, Washington. Roofing includes removing standing seam metal and replacing with new standing seam metal roofing. The color for all new roofing is "Weathered Copper." Install new gutters and downspouts. This project is being solicited and awarded as a total (100%) small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 238160, Roofing Contractors, with an associated small business size standard of $14 million. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. SITE VISIT: An organized site visit will not be scheduled. Offerors are strongly encouraged to make a site visit on their own time. Offerors may view the exterior of the structures. There will be no interior access to the buildings permitted. DIRECTIONS: Lake Crescent Lodge employee housing is located off of US Highway 101 along Lake Crescent. Turn off US Highway 101 at the sign for "Lake Crescent Lodge." At the four way stop turn left. The employee housing is the first drive on the left past Lake Crescent Lodge. Solicitation number P12PS40987 will NOT be posted becuase it was cancelled and replaced with Solicitation number P12PS40336. Solicitation number P12PS40336 will be posted to http:///www.fbo.gov with a link to retrieve the solicitation form, clauses, specifications, wage rates, and all other associated documents at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about March 15, 2012, with a response date 30 days thereafter. PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS, EMAIL REQUESTS, OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
