- SOURCES SOUGHT - 13 March 2012 - ACC ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND is seeking small businesses capable of providing a specialized Anthropomorphic Test Device lumbar verification test system, meeting the following technical specifications: The device must deliver low amplitude, long duration pulses to the ATD lumbar. Target force is 25% of injury threshold. Must fit the allowed dimensions in the ATD laboratory. Prefer pneumatic device (over hydraulic). Prefer ATD to be stationary (not accelerated on a drop tower). This is not a solicitation, a solicitation will be issued at a later date, this is merely a survey seeking qualified small businesses capable of fulfilling the subject requirement for a possible Small Business Set Aside. All potential offerors shall contact Jennifer L. Tilden via e-mail at Jennifer.L.Tilden5.civ@mail.mil or by fax at (410) 278-2407 to express interest and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. Posting date of this requirement is 15 March 2012. A determination by the Government to set aside this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED.
