Description
The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville, Florida intends to solicit for local exchange access, commercial network service, supporting subscriber service for the Jacksonville area Naval Complexes consisting of Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville, Naval Hospital Jacksonville, Naval Station Mayport, Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) Jacksonville, Cecil Commerce Center and the additional outlying locations under the Area of Responsibilities (AOR) of the Base Communications Office (BCO) Jacksonville. Offerors shall provide the requirements for local exchange access, carrier commercial network service, path/interface to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) to support simultaneous access, transmission and switching of voice, data and image services. Trunking service shall terminate on the Navy ™s Lucent 5ESS telephone switching platforms at the following locations: NAS Jacksonville (Building 27), Naval Hospital Jacksonville (Building 2080), and Naval Station Mayport (Building 2276). In addition, trunking service shall terminate on the Navy ™s Avaya S8500 telephone switching platforms at Cecil Commerce Center, 6206 Aviation Avenue, Jacksonville. This is a pre-solicitation notice that a solicitation is scheduled to be released via FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov). The complete statement of work and technical specifications will be provided in the Request for Proposal (RFP). The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about 19 March 2012 and will close 30 days thereafter. The Government will solicit this requirement for full and open competition, using acquisition procedures outlined in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. The proposed procurement is for a four (4) month base period and two (2) one-year option periods. FOB Destination. This requirement will be unrestricted and is identified under NAICS Code 517110 with the small business size standard being 1500 employees.
