- SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOUCE SOLICITATION NO.: W91ZLK-W81C5M20373101 POSTING DATE: 15 MARCH 2012 RESPONSE DATE: 22 MARCH 2012 The U. S. Army Contracting Command (ACC), Aberdeen Contracting Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD 21005-3013, intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) with Princeton Optronics, Inc., located at 1 Electronics Drive, Trenton, NJ 08619-2054 USA. The contractor shall provide Compact Laser Illuminator Units which obtain specifications such as optical out-put power of 70W, peak wavelength, 808 nm integrated systems each comprising of a laser module, optical system, cooling module, battery module, control modular, and a driver modular. Princeton Optronics, Inc. is the sole manufacturer and distributor for these specific types of lasers. They are the sole company which provides high intensity brightness and are speckle free. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334413; Semiconductor & Related Device Manufacturing with a size standard of 500 employees. Interested persons may identify their interest, in writing (via e-mail), to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice must be received no later that 4:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time (EST), 22 March 2012.
