- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER. The U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Installation Contracting Office intends to award a sole source, firm fixed-price contract for The United States Army Band, Pershing's Own, Ft. Myer VA for mechanical licensing royalties of several works for its 2012 recording projects. The intended contractor is The Harry Fox Agency, Inc, 601 W 26th St. Ste. 500, New York NY, 10001-1101. The NAICS Code is 512210. The Government intends to award a sole source, purchase order to The Harry Fox Agency, Inc. for the acquisition of licensing and royalty rights for the copyrighted musical works of the composers, and musical publishers represented by The Harry Fox Agency, Inc, for which the Government is not otherwise licensed. License Period: April 1, 2012 through December 31, 2012. This 'Notice of Intent' is not a request for competitive offers/quotes/proposals. The determination by the Government to compete this solicitation will be based upon responses to this notice. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This requirement, if solicited, would be advertised as an 'Unrestricted' procurement with provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-56 dated March 2, 2012. The solicitation will not be posted. In order to be considered, responses MUST be received NO LATER THAN 2:00PM, EASTERN STANDARD TIME, MARCH 22, 2012. Additionally, interested sources must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), found at https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/default.aspx and have a valid Online Representations Certifications Application (ORCA) record at https://orca.bpn.gov/login.aspx to be considered.
