- The work consist of the lease of one cutterhead, hydraulic pipeline dredge (not less than 22-inch diameter), fully operated with attendant plant and personnel, with a draft not to exceed 9 feet, for construction and maintenance dredging within the Vicksburg District, other Districts within the Mississippi Valley Division, or Districts adjacent to the Vicksburg District. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Plans and specifications will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Web Page at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Bidders may register on the Interested Vendor's List (IVL) at http://www.fbo.gov/ and retrieve an IVL from the same location. Compact disc and hardcopies will not be available. Bidders are encouraged to check often for changes (AMENDMENTS) to posted solicitations. Issue date on or about 05 April 2012. Bid Opening date on or about 08 May 2012, 1400 hours. This procurement is Unrestricted and issued under FSC Code Y1KF for a firm fixed price contract.
