- The Internal Revenue intends to issue a solicitation entitled Original Instrument Discount (OID) Table Production for the acquisition of contractor support services to produce OID tables that are posted to the IRS website. This is an unrestricted acquisition, NAICS code is 518210; the small business size standard is $23,000,000. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Publication 1212, Original Issue Discount Instruments, provides original issue discount (OID) information and tables to brokers, middlemen, and the public on an annual basis. Contractor services are required to gather, analyze, and process bond information from various sources, including completed Forms 8281, Information Return for Publicly Offered Original Issue Discount Instruments. The processed bond information results in the tables. The Government intends to award a fixed price (FP) contract for a base period of one (1) year with four (4) one year options. Award will be made to the vendor representing the best value to the government. All responsible sources may submit an offer. The estimated date of solicitation release is on or about March 16, 2012.
