DESCRIPTION: LI 0001 Width: 2.970 inches; Effective Length: 4.665inches; Predominate Material: Stell AMS 6304 ITEM FUNCTION: LI 0001 Connects the compressor to compressordrive turbine shaft. 9. QUANTITY/DELIVERY: LI 0001 QTY 37 EA (Range: Min 1 EA/Max 56 EA) /6 per month 500 days ARO 10. APPLICATION: F100-PW-100/200/220/220E Engine 11. DESTINATION: SW3211, Tinker AFB, OK 73145-8000. Mark For: Acct 09 12. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Sources must be qualified prior to beingconsidered for award. To be eligible for contract award, the offerormust be an approved source IAW FAR 52.209-1, Qualification Requirements.The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pendingSource Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged tosubmit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completedreview of a SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retainedand the source will be reviewed as a possible source for future awards. 13. EXPORT CONTROL: Data is export controlled. Thesolicitation/procurement data list is approved for release only to U.S.DoD contractors who are registered and certified with the DefenseLogistics Information Service (DLIS). Submission of DD Form 2345,Military Critical Technical Data Agreement, with your request for thesolicitation is required as specified in the International Traffic inArms Regulation (ITAR), 22 CFR Sections 121 through 128. Foreigncontractors cannot participate as prime contractors. The technical datawill not be available until the solicitation is posted. 14. UID: If unit price exceeds $5,000.00 then UID requirements willapply. 15. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Electronic procedures and Request forWritten Proposal will be used for this solicitation through FedBizOpps athttps://www.fbo.gov/index. Justification: Supplies (or service) required are available fromone or only a limited number of source(s) and no other type of suppliesor services will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sourcessolicited may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation,which shall be considered by the agency. Foreign contractors cannotparticipate as prime contractors. Intended source is UnitedTechnologies Corporation. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policiescontained in Part12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in itssolicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interestedpersons may identify to the contracting officer their interest andcapability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercialitem within 15 days of this notice. OMBUDSMAN NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns fromofferors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase ofthis acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish theauthority of the program director or contracting officer, but tocommunicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested,the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source ofthe concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation ofproposals or in the source selection process.
