- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to the Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS) for registration to the 2012 ITS America Annual Meeting and Exposition. FHWA's participation in this meeting will provide the opportunity to learn more about cost-effective technology solutions for reducing traffic congestion, greenhouse gas emissions, and traffic accidents, financing infrastructure projects, collecting performance measurement data, and improving system management. The proposed action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a response identifying their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the total estimated value is not to exceed $48,000; the anticipated award date is in April, 2012.
