- Description
- Synopsis: The Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS) intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) P12PS10697, Testing and Inspection of Fire and Intrusion Alarm System Panesl and Devices at Steamtown National Historial Site, 150 South Washington Avenue, Scranton, PA 18503. The work consists of furnishing all labor, material, equipment and supervision required to perform semiannual inspection and tests for approximately 930 devices in 8 buildings associated with the existing fire and intrusion alarm systems as specified in the solicitation scope of work. The intended contract will be Firm-Fixed Price contract. This project is being solicited as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The solicitation including all bid documents will be posted to the websites, http://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about 27 March 2012. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package you must download it from http://ideasec.nbc.gov. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration system in order to receive contract awards. As a security precaution, vendors must register themselves through the on-line CCR system. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 561621 and the Size Standard is 12.5 million dollars. There will be a site visit, and perspective proposers are encouraged to visit the site to satisfy themselves on conditions before providing a proposal. The date and time for the site visit will be specified in the solicitation.
