- On or about 21 March 2012, this office will issue Invitations for Bid for construction of the 13TH CAB COMPLEX, PRIMARY CAB ROADWAY AND UTILITIES, PN 77319, FORT CARSON, COLORADO. The solicitation will close on or about 25 April 2012. This solicitation is RESTRICTED TO SMALL BUSINESS PARTICIPATION. A tentative site visit date has been scheduled for 4 April 2012. Provisions in the solicitation documents will provide detailed information (meeting place, time, points of contact, and access requirements). See 'Obtaining Solicitation Documents' below. Project Description: This is a Fully-Designed Project. The work consists of construction of asphalt surface roadway 'Airfield Road, Control Tower Road, Future Fie Hall Access Road, Son Tay Road #1 and #2 and a traffic roundabout', one lane in each direction, with concrete curb and gutters; asphalt POV parking; PCC Concrete Paving Hardstand; traffic control devices; concrete surface sidewalk and aggregate surface running trail; demolish and/or remove existing utilities; new utility main systems to include: electrical power, electrical communications, natural gas, potable water, non-potable water, fire water system, industrial waste, sanitary sewer, storm sewer; approximately 300 square foot communications cross connect building. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $15,000,000 and $20,000,000.
