- The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions posed by a potential quoter. Question 1: What is the diameter size of the vacuum lines going from the Tystar Furnace to the respective vacuum pumps? Answer 1: Two of the Tystar furnaces have 2" vacuum lines and one has 3" vacuum line. Question 2: On line item 0001, the SOL states the abatement system ‘must accommodate up to 4 process tools', then the item 0001 identifies the 4 processes that need to be abated. It is the intention of the SOL to have a single abatement system to handle all 4 processes and have potential contamination and/or chemical reactions or are you requesting abatement for each of the (4) processes? Answer 2: Whatever solution the vendor proposes, it must support the 4 tools we have defined and meet all specifications. For example, that could be a single exhaust side solution, 4 individual exhaust side solutions, or 4 individual vacuum side solutions. All terms and conditions of the original solicitation, including closing date and time, remain unchanged and in full effect.
