Description
Synopsis: Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, James J. Peter VA Medical Center is currently conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing "Service for Load Bank Testing on Emergency Generators". The vendor will be responsible for but not limited to; A.Vendor shall transport equipment to and from 2094 Albany Post Road Montrose, New York 10548 and Castle Point Campus, VA Hudson Valley, Healthcare System, Castle Point, NY 12511 upon commencement and conclusion of work as specified in the pickup/delivery section herein, B.Vendor shall steam clean entire machine, C.Vendor shall perform 250/500/1000/2000 hour service as follows: 1.Battery (ies) - replace, 2.Battery Cable - replace, 3.Bucket Cutting Edges - replace, 4.Bucket tips - replace, 5.Cab Interior - Clean, 6.Engine Air Filter Primary Element - replace, 7.Engine Air Filter Secondary Element - replace, 8.Engine Air Pre cleaner - clean, 9.Engine Compartment - clean, 10.Radiator Core - clean, 11.Window washer reservoir - fill, 12.Window Wipers - replace, 13.Windows - clean - replace any damaged windows, 14.Backhoe boom stick, bucket and cylinder bearings - lubricate, 15.Backup alarm - test - advise COTR if there is a malfunction, 16.Braking system - test - advise COTR if there is a malfunction, 17.Fuel System Water Separator - drain, 18.Loader Bucket, cylinder and linkage bearings - lubricate, 19.Clean and inspect stabilizers, 20.Swing Frame and Cylinder Bearings - Lubricate, 21.Cab Filter (fresh air) - replace, 22.Cab Filter (recirculation) - replace, 23.Fuel Tank Water and Sediment - Drain, 24.Parking Break - check/adjust, 25.Axle Breathers - replace, 26.Belts - replace, 27.Extendable Stick pads - Inspect/Adjust, 28.Power side shift stabilizer Wear Pads - Inspect, 29.Drive Shaft Spline - Lubricate, 30.Engine Oil - Change, 31.Engine Oil Filter - Change, 32.Fuel System Filter and water Separator - replace, 33.Fuel System Filter and Water Separator - replace, 34.Fuel System Secondary Filter - Replace, 35.Hydraulic System Oil Filter - replace, 36.Transmission Oil Filter - Replace, 37.Engine Valve Lash - check and adjust, 38.Differential Oil (front) - change, 39.Differential Oil (rear) - change, 40.Final Drive Oil (front) change, 41.Final Drive Oil (rear) change, 42.Rollover Protective Structure ROPS - Inspect, 43.Transmission Magnetic Screen - Clean, 44.Transmission Oil - Change, 45.Wheel Bearings - lubricate, 46.Engine Crankcase breather - replace, 47.Hydraulic System Oil - Change, 48.Receiver Dryer (refrigerant) - Replace, 49.Cooling System Water Temperature Regulator - replace, 50.Seat Belt - replace, 51.Cooling System Coolant - change, 52.Troubleshoot and quote air conditioning repair (430E) (DDT496), a.repair will be quoted a price agreed on by contracting officer and task amendment issued prior to repair, 53.Run all machines inspect for leaks. Quote price for leak repairs, a.repair will be quoted a price agreed on by contracting officer and task amendment issued prior to repair. 54.Repair Heater Blower Motor (Cat 910) (80U6213) 55.Replace snow plow cutting edge (Case 590) (JJG206639) 56.Troubleshoot and quote transmission noise and shifting problem (Case 590) (JJG206639), a. repair will be quoted a price agreed on by contracting officer and task amendment issued prior to repair. 57.Troubleshoot and quote repair of oil leak at rear of boom area (Case 590) (JJG206639) a. repair will be quoted a price agreed on by contracting officer and task amendment issued prior to repair. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 811310. Responses to this notice must be submitting in writing (email) and must be received not later than March 19th, 2012 at 10:00AM. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification//socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 811310. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice should include company/individual name, a service capability statement, examples of similar facilities which you have provided services to, DUNS number, address, point of contact and social-economic category (ex: SBVOSB, VOSB, 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, EDWOSB, Small Business). If your firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov). Contractor must be registered in Central Contractor Registry (CCR) (see internet site: http://www.ccr.gov). Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email ) and received not later than March 19th, 2012 at 10:00AM. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
