- This requirement is for the purchase of rudder stocks and blades for the 418-foot Maritime Security Cutter Large (WMSL) class of vessels. This procurement will be a total small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 332312, Fabricated Structural and Metal Manufacturing, and the size standard is 500 employees. The following supplies are required: 2 each, Rudder Blade, approximately 13 ft x 11 ft, NSN 1615-01-549-7208, Part Number: ASC562002 Rev A. 2 each, Rudder Stock, approximately 21 in (diameter) x 18 in, NSN 2040-01-549-7870, Part Number: ASC562003. Required delivery date: 12 months after contract award. Delivery terms: FOB Destination, Barstow, CA. The solicitation will be posted on or about April 6, 2012 at www.fbo.gov as a commercial solicitation. The contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforming to the solicitation provides the best value to the government. Award will be based on technical, past performance and price factors. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded.
