- Description
- This is a synopsis stating that the United States Air Force contemplates issuing a competitive solicitation for hotel accommodations. This effort includes tasks and activities to be performed by a hotel contractor in support of C-STARS Cincinnati. The contractor will provide nine (9) hotel rooms which would house up to fifteen (15) Cincinnati CSTARS students (at max. capacity of 15 students per class), two students per room. Hotel accommodations shall be less than 20 mile radius of University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The solicitation number for this requirement is FA8601-12-R-0008 and will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using FAR Subpart 12.6 Acquisition of Commercial Items. The contemplated contract is to be Firm Fixed Price for one base year and four one-year option periods. The solicitation is expected to be released on or about 16 May 2012. This acquisition will be 100% Small business Set-Aside under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 721110 “Hotels (Except Casino Hotels) and Motels”, size standard $30 Million. The Department of Defense has determined the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be the single DoD registration for contractors who conduct business or who are interested in conducting business with the DoD. Contractors must be registered in CCR prior to contract award. CCR can be accessed at http://www.bpn.gov. All interested offerors must download documents from http://www.fbo.gov. No hard copies will be available. All interested offerors are requested to electronically register in order to receive e-mail notification of updates to this solicitation.
