- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Patuxent River, Maryland has a requirement for support and updates of payload integrations and tests required in support of operations for the Fire Scout Vertical Takeoff and Landing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (VTUAV). Contractor shall provide technical, management, and process support necessary to maintain the Fire Scout VTUAV operational software, vendor software, maintenance related software and laboratory support software. NAVAIR intends to award a sole source contract to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC) located at 17066 Golden Top Road, San Diego, California 92127-2412. NGSC has sole source authority for development, integration and procurement activity for the Fire Scout air vehicle and control stations. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, if there is a contractor who feels they can meet this requirement, they can submit their information package to the Contract Specialist within 15 days of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.
