- Description
- The U. S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Shared Services Division, is seeking qualified sources that can manufacture MK75 Mod 0 Gun Weapon Systems Water Shields in accordance with NAVSEA drawing number 5519935 with limited rights data concerning Oto Melara, or any licensee of Oto Melara. It is the Government's belief that only Oto Melara, or their licensee, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), possesses the required capabilities to manufacture these water shields to ensure compatibility and interchangeability with existing equipment; therefore, it is the Government's intent to solicit only Oto Melara and/or their authorized distributors/licensee. However, sources having the expertise and required capabilities to provide this equipment can submit their capabilities to this office within 15 calendar days from the date of this notice. Data submitted must include, (1) Complete and current technical and engineering data to demonstrate offeror capabilities, (i.e. salient physical, functional and performance characteristics), and/or, (2) Data that the offered equipment has been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government, or the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The information submitted must include sufficient information to evaluate offeror capabilities. The Government does not intend to pay for information solicited. Information received after the established deadline shall not be considered. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 6.302-1.
