- Description
- PTAC Reconnection Reconnect 88 individual room HVAC units (PTAC) to the existing Siemens Building Automation System (BAS). The rooms are contained in two 2- story dormitory buildings. The units must be hard wired back into the existing LAN backbone found in each building. The Contractor must provide 88 individual room sensor units to the Center and train the HVAC and Network Cabling trades to install the sensors and the wire from the PTAC Unit to the sensor and from the sensor to the LAN backbone. Installation of cable and sensors will be performed by the Center's CT Trades. The sensors provided must be capable of full functionality with the existing Siemens Model XXXXX BAS. The Contractor will be responsible for wiring the cable to the individual room unit controls so that it renders the on equipment controls non functional. The connection of the wire from the unit to the sensor the connection of the wiring from each sensor to the LAN backbone calibration of each unit into the BAS Work can be performed between the hours of 8 A.M. and 3 P.M Monday through Friday.
