- NASA/GSFC has a requirement for a Mastercam Mill Level 3 software/maintenance tofor the engineering design process in the Advanced Manufacturing Branch. The requirementincludes the following: 1.Mastercam Mill Level 3: Multisurface machining up to 3-axis - (QTY 3)2.Mastercam Lathe Add-on- (QTY 3)3.Mastercam Multi-Axis Add-on - (QTY 3)4.Mastercam Solids Add-on (QTY 3)5.Mastercam one year Maintenance (QTY 3)NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the item from Prism Engineering, Inc. It is ourunderstanding that Prism Engineering, Inc. is the only vendor that can supply therequirement. DO Rating is DO-C9. This synopsis shall not be construed as a commitment by theGovernment, nor will the Government pay for the information solicited.Questions regarding this acquisition must be directed to the attention of Odessia Becks via e-mail at Odessia.H.Becks@nasa.gov or via facsimile at (301) 286-1720 by 12:00pm EST, March 16, 2012.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 12:00pm EST on March 16, 2012. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purposeof determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. It isthe quoters responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments.Potentialquoters will be responsible for downloading their own copy of this notice.A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the Government.Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.An ombudsman has been appointed.
